Edit: I don’t want to embitter or scandalize, but there is no argument that based upon the original tenants of Christianity this is a departure from the faith. It is okay and understandable/normal to struggle, but flying giant banners doesn’t feel like struggling it feels more like pride…

The Church has a wonderful welcoming spirit. They are now hosting a number of important community programs including "Living Proud" Life-Skills Empowerment Program for homeless youth - many of them LGBT.
