How We Rank the Best Churches in Los Angeles

Our rankings are based on FaithScout's multi-dimensional visit report system. Instead of a single star rating, church members rate their experience across five dimensions: teaching quality, community warmth, worship experience, first-visit welcome, and children's ministry. The overall score is an average of these dimensions, giving you a comprehensive picture of what each church does well.

Only churches with at least one visit report are included in the rankings. We believe every church has something unique to offer, and these rankings are meant to help you start your search, not to declare winners and losers.
